We can not always change the world, but we can change how we relate with it.
Mindfulness is the practice of, as best we can, bringing a relaxed, clear attention to each moment of our lives.
Incredibly, when we relate with ourselves and our life with a mindful attention, we unlock a wealth of benefits.
research has shown that people who practice mindfulness daily
stress less
have reduced anxiety and depression
improve focus and attention
are able to think more clearly and creatively
report greater understanding of themselves and connection with others
sleep better
get sick less
experience reduced blood pressure
are better able to regulate their emotions
ruminate less
are able to communicate more effectively
explore the course!

Week 1
Acknowledging what is. What is mindfulness? How does it work? And how does mindfulness help us metabolize and recover from stress, anxiety, and burnout?
We’ll explore all this plus you will learn a mindfulness practice you can use “on the spot” for recognizing and releasing tension within the body.
Week 2
Strength and stability. A body that is stressed, anxious, or disconnected cannot find ease, and cannot fully heal. In this class you will learn the new science of our nervous system — and how an embodied experience of safety promotes healing, calm, and physical ease within the body.

Week 3
Rest and recovery. Healing is a process. Growth is a process. While our lives have sped up, the time it takes for the body to process and metabolize the challenges we experience has not.
In this class you will learn a mindfulness practice that promotes whole body awareness, the metabolism of challenges and tension, and true rest and recovery.
Week 4
A great night’s sleep. We spend one-third of our life — nearly 30 years! — sleeping — and yet for many, a great night’s sleep is hard to come by.
In the final class you will learn how mindfulness can promote getting regular, restful sleep.
Attending this four week series you will learn foundational mindfulness meditation practices that are intended to provide benefit in the near and long term.
This class is excellent for brand new beginners or those with any established meditation practice looking to deepen their understanding and experience.
Recordings of all class teachings and guided mindfulness practices will be provided weekly.
