Guided meditation practices are an invaluable resource.
To this day there are recordings I listen to, and guided meditations I follow along with rather than try to “lead” myself.
The following are a sample of staple, or foundational mindfulness meditation practices.
Their fundamental purpose is the same: to enable you to engage and sustain your attention.
I recommend you sample them all, and choose one that is most helpful to you. By helpful I mean it enables you to feel relaxed, at ease, and like you are hitting the intention of engaging and training your attention.
The following descriptions provide you with a sense of the intention and guidance of each practice.
