Our emotions are invaluable. They enrich our lives and provide purpose and clarity. Emotions guide us toward experiences and relationships that make us feel seen, loved, fulfilled and whole. Emotions can also seem mysterious, elusive, and overwhelming!
Emotions can come on suddenly, overturning our well laid plans and intentions. They can also leave us feeling too exhausted and diminished to take action in our life.
Can we navigate these two extremes? And how?
In this class you will learn:
+ What Mindfulness Is
+ How Mindfulness Helps Us Connect with and Navigate Emotions
+ TWO Guided Meditations — one for being present to challenging emotions, and a second for cultivating love and happiness
Whether you are new to mindfulness meditation or an experienced meditator this class has something to offer!
Brandon Everett is a Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher based out of Philadelphia, PA.
He takes the perspective that everyone, given the right approach, has the potential to learn and so benefit from mindfulness. His teaching is infused with honesty, compassion, and humor — and he always seeks to show how practical yet transformative mindfulness can be in daily and working life.
Since completing a 2-year, 900-hour meditation Teacher Training in 2017 with ClearLight Meditation Institute, he has gone on to share mindfulness and meditation practices with thousands of people — from kindergartens to graduate programs, from break rooms to boardrooms — across PA, NJ, and NY.
In addition to teaching, Brandon works as a Registered Nurse.
